Day 1 BALIKPAPAN – SAMARINDA – KOTA BANGUN (lunch, dinner)
  Upon arrival in Balikpapan you will be met at the airport and transferred to Kota Bangun. The rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight at the Lodge.
Day 2 KOTA BANGUN – MANCONG – TANJUNG ISUY – MUARA MUNTAI (full board)
  This morning, after breakfast proceed to Mancong by motorized canoe crossing the Jempang Lake. Discover the rich variety of birds, wildlife and people that live along the Ohong River. Upon arrival Mancong, you will explore a traditional longhouse of the native people Benuaq Dayak.  Afterward, proceed to Tanjung Isuy, where colourful dress dancers will welcome you in front of their longhouse.  Return to the houseboat and cruise back to Balikpapan. Overnight at the lodge in Muara Muntai
Day 3 TANJUNG ISUY – KOTA BANGUN – SAMARINDA (full board)
  Transfer by road to Pampang village where you will see the last generation of long-ears woman of the Kenyah Dayak’ s tribe.  A stop will me be made in Tenggarong for visiting the King Collection at the Museum of Mulawarman and the Royal Cemetery of Kutai Kartanegara kingdom. Overnight in hotel in Samarinda.
Day 4 SAMARINDA – MUARA KOMAM – UPAU VILLAGE (full board)
  After breakfast, you will be driven to Muara Komam to visit a beautiful cave.  Afterwards, proceed to Upau village to meet another native group, the Dayak Deah. Overnight in a local house.
Day 5 UPAU VILLAGE – PANDAK DAUN – LOKSADO (full board)
  After breakfast enjoy a traditional native dance performance and continue your journey to Pandak Daun swamp village to observe the villagers' unique activities and see water buffaloes swim to their raised enclosures. Afterwards, proceed to Loksado for overnight in a simple lodge.
Day 6 RAINFOREST TREKKING (full board)
  After breakfast explore the Dayak lands hiking through many different landscapes; rainforest, hills, waterfalls, hanging bridges, longhouses and farmlands with cinnamon and rubber plantations. Lunch enroute. In the afternoon return to the lodge through a different trail. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 7 BAMBOO RAFTING – RIAM KANAN LAKE – APUAI (full board)
  A fantastic way to take in the amazing scenery in Kalimantan is to take a local bamboo raft down the river. The raft is made of long large pieces of bamboo tied together. A local man manoeuvres the raft along the river with the use of a bamboo pole. There is no motor and you will be able to enjoy the peacefulness of the river and the lush rainforest. There are points where you will raft over a rapid which provides some excitement. Upon reaching the small port of Aranio you will board a boat for a cruise up the Riam Kanan Lake to Apuai.  Overnight in a campsite on the lakeside. 
Day 8 APUAI – RIAM KANAN LAKE – BANJARMASIN (full board)
  Rise early this morning and explore the beautiful Riam Kanan Lake.  Afterwards, proceed to Banjarmasin where you will explore the Banjarese River by taking an afternoon canal sightseeing to witness the way of life along the riverbanks. Overnight in  hotel in Banjarmasin
Day 9 FLOATING MARKET – SAMPIT (full board)
  Early in the morning travel by boat to visit Banjarmasin floating market, and experience the colourful trade of goods between their vessels. Return to your hotel for breakfast and then continue your trip to Pandak Daun swamp village to observe the villagers' unique activities and see water buffaloes swim to their raised enclosures. After the cruise, transfer by road to Sampit. Overnight in hotel in Sampit.
Day 10 SAMPIT – PANGKALAN BUN – TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK (full board)
  After breakfast, continue your journey to Kumai port where you will board the traditional “Klotok” river boat, which will take you up river to Tanjung Puting National Park. In the peaceful afternoon, we will slowly explore the Sekonyer River in search of primates. The traditional Klotok is a traditional two-storeyed wooden river boat equipped with inboard or outboard motor, and is specially built to navigate through shallow waters and narrow sections of the river. The friendly boat crew consists of Capitan, cook and tour guide. The Klotok is very simple but equipped with mattress with blankets, pillows and mosquito nets. A very basic toilet is located at the back of the boat. Spend the night onboard
Day 11 TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK (full board)
  With a private Klotok for the entire tour, you are free to decide what time you would like to depart in the morning and the itinerary is flexible.  You can explore the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre of Pondok Tanguy, to witness the feeding time of the new ex-captive orangutans. Or you can journey up the creek to Camp Leakey where the older orangutans are reintroduced into the rainforest. At the Camp Leakey you will have the opportunity to walk in the rainforest with your guide and spot a variety of wildlife such as orangutans, gibbons, macaque and birds. In the afternoon you can visit the feeding station to see the feeding time of the rehabilitated orangutans. Before dusk return to the Klotok for dinner and spend the night onboard. 
Day 12 TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK – DEPARTURE (breakfast)
  Return to Kumai district by boat then transfer to Pangkalan Bun airport for your flight to your next destination.
