Day 1 ARRIVE KUCHING - CITY TOUR
Upon arrival in Kuching you will be met at the airport and taken on a sightseeing tour of Kuching. Tour highlights includes Chinatown, the Cat Statue (Kuching means ‘Cat’ in Malay), the colourful Tua Pek Kong Chinese Temple, the Civic Centre Viewing platform and the world famous museum which displays some great tribal artefacts. Pass by the golden-domed city Mosque and through the Old Kuching, crammed with spice dealers and textile shops. Admire the colonial buildings of the White Rajah Era such as the Pavilion, the Square Tower, the Court House, the Charles Brooke Monument, the Astana and the Post Office. Overnight in Kuching
Day 2 SEMENGGOH ORANGUTAN (breakfast)
This half day tour will take you into the Orangutan's world. You will be driven for about 30 minutes to Semenggoh Nature Reserve to see orangutans at their feeding time. This nature reserve provides a safe haven for rehabilitated orangutans who have been rescued from captivity. Upon arrival at the entrance of the centre, you will be directed to the feeding platform (about 20 minute-walk). Along the way, you can admire the ethno-botanical garden with the unique collection of tropical plants. After the feeding time of the orangutans, you will be transferred back to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Kuching
Day 3 BAKO NATIONAL PARK (breakfast, packed lunch)
This morning you will be driven for about 1.5 hour to Bako Village where you will board the boat to Bako National Park. The cruise takes approximately 30 minutes (depending on the tide). Bako offers a mix of coastal scenery, teeming rainforest and abundant wildlife. Sarawak’s premier wildlife location is one of the best places in Borneo to see proboscis monkeys. Other wildlife seen include leaf monkeys, long-tailed macaques, wild boars, flying squirrels, monitor lizards and several species of birds. The park’s flora is rich and diverse and includes mangroves, strangling figs, carnivorous pitcher plants and symbiotic ant plants. Unique geological features mark the coastline, whilst well-marked trails lead to rugged jungle-covered hilltops and secluded beaches. You will be dropped back at your hotel at the end of the tour. Day 4 KUCHING - LEMANAK RIVER (full board)
This 2-day tour will take you to the remote Lemanak River to experience the local Iban culture. You will be driven for about 4.5 hours through lush green countryside dotted with padi fields, pepper gardens and rubber plantations, and flanked by rugged jungle-clad mountains.  Along the way, stop off at the Serian farmer’s market, visit a pepper garden and view carnivorous pitcher plants.  Stop for lunch at a roadside bazaar deep in Iban country.  Arrive at Lemanak jetty mid-afternoon for a longboat ride up the Lemanak River, passing through typical Borneo countryside with a longhouse tucked behind almost every bend in the river.   Arrive at Ngemah Longhouse and visit the “entire village under one roof.”  Dinner, featuring delicious fresh jungle produce.  After dinner, we will proceed for some evening’s entertainment, including traditional dancing, music, games and a glass or two of tuak (rice wine) with the longhouse chief.  The Iban are a fun-loving people, and visitors are expected to join in!  Overnight in the Longhouse.  You will be spending your night at the ruai (the longhouse common room).  As for the washroom / toilet facilities you will be sharing with the Ibans
Day 5 LEMANAK RIVER - KUCHING (breakfast, lunch)
After breakfast, enjoy a demonstration of the native activities such as blowpipe for hunting, followed by a short nature walk to learn about some local medicinal plants. Afterwards travel by longboat down river and catch the coach back to Kuching. Arrive Kuching in the late afternoon. Overnight in Kuching
Day 6 KUCHING - MULU NATIONAL PARK (full board)

After breakfast, transfer to Kuching airport for your flight to Mulu. Arrive Mulu airport, meet your guide and transfer to your choice of accommodation. After lunch we proceed by van to Park HQ  for a visit to Deer and Lang’s Cave. We trek along the plant walk ( 3 km) through the rainforest. Explore the largest cave passage in the world- DEER CAVE and LANG’S CAVE. Relax at the open air observatory for an opportunity witness the phenomenon exodus of BATS out of the caves, spiraling high overhead and ascend to the sky where they will search for food. We then returned to the Park and transfer to your accommodation

Day 7 MULU NATIONAL PARK (full board)
Take a morning longtail boat ride to visit  CAVE OF THE WINDS with is tall, slender stalagmites, then on to the source of the CLEARWATER RIVER, see the underground river and visit the dry passage of the LADY’S CAVE. Swim at the Clearwater Spring. Packed lunch at the Clearwater pavilion before touring Canopy Skywalk.How do you discover all this and understand why Mulu is one of the World's biodiversity ‘hot-spots’? Try one of our rainforest activities. The Mulu Canopy Skywalk at 480 metres is the longest tree-based walkway in the World. As you walk among the ferns and vines 15 – 25 metres above the forest floor and river you will enjoy this unique opportunity to get closer to the rainforest ‘web of life’. Transfer back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 8 MULU NATIONAL PARK - DEPARTURE (breakfast)
Free leisure until transfer to Mulu airport for your onwards flight
