RESERVATION & PAYMENT POLICY  
 
1. BOOKING –
If you wish to make a booking, you must read carefully and understand the Terms and Conditions that follow. Reservation can be made by phone or in writing either by facsimile or preferably by email.

2. DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT -
In order to secure your booking, a non-refundable 35 % deposit of the full payment must be paid within 7 days after the initial booking otherwise it will be automatically be made available for resale. The deposit will hold the reservation until 30 days before arrival date. By this time, the balance of payment must be fully settled. If your reservation is completed 30 days or less, prior to the arrival dates, the full invoiced amount is charged upon confirmation. The deposit required may vary depending on the products booked (Important: Domestic flights tickets charges are made in full and separately from other pre-booked services).

3. PAYMENT -
Payment may be made either by telegraphic transfer or by credit card.

4. PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD -
Credit card companies charge us a fee when you pay with their cards and therefore a credit card fee is applied to travel bookings made with Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit cards.
~ VISA, MasterCard, JCB:  3%  ~ American Express: 5.5%
Credit cards fees are not refundable. Upon receipt of invoice and booking confirmation, we require that you provide us with a signed copy of the Credit Card Authorization form.  You are kindly requested to print out the form and fill in your information and then send it back to us by fax or by email (using a scanner).  We cannot accept credit card details sent by email or over the phone. 
Where credit /debit card details are passed to All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd by email or fax, we destroy them as soon as your order has been processed.

5. PAYMENT BY TELEGRAPHIC TRANSFER -
Payment must be in the currency of the invoice and you are responsible for bank charges.

CONDITION OF PURCHASE

All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions set out below

1.PRICES AND EXCHANGE RATES –
We reserve the right to increase or decrease the price quoted at any time prior to booking.  Prices quoted are subject to alteration due to continuing variation of air fares, unforeseen supplier increases and exchange rate fluctuations.

2. EXCHANGE RATES –
All prices are quoted in local currency (RM Malaysian Ringgit). The exchange rate will be taken as the rate available at the time of invoicing. Exchange rates are determined by All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd.

3. REMOVAL OF TRAVEL PRODUCTS -
We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to remove, modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently out travel products  (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable to you or to any third party in any way for any modification suspension or discontinuance of the travel products.

4. NON-AVAILABILITY –
All Travel Products offered are subject to availability and acceptance, at the discretion of our suppliers of such product or service. In the event a travel product booked by you is not available, we shall suggest you an alternative product or service of similar pricing and quality. If you fail to accept our suggested alternative travel product by the specified deadline, we reserve our right to cancel our tentative booking of the same.

5. FLIGHT BOOKING -
Flight tickets cannot be issued without full pre-payment. The airlines reserve the right to increase prices at any time, and we are not able to guarantee the price shown on the confirmation invoice.  Please note that airfares are constantly changing and usually increasing. Very often there is little or no notice of these increases, but very rarely do increases apply to tickets already issued. It is therefore to your advantage to finalise payment as soon as you can after booking, and so reduce any risk of surcharge.


6. EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL –
These include: unusual, unforeseeable or unavoidable events beyond our control, the consequences of which could not be avoided even if all due care has been exercised including but not limited to war, threat of war, riot, civil disobedience or strife, government action, terrorist activity, natural or industrial disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, level of water in rivers or floods, closure of airports and may also include industrial dispute involving third parties, technical or maintenance problems or unforeseen operational decisions of air carriers such as changes of schedule. Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions we regret that we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by reason of such events beyond our control.

7. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS –
It is your responsibility to obtain a visa (where required) and other relevant travel document at your own costs. You must be in possession of a valid passport required for entry, departure and travel through each destination point along the itinerary of the tour, (your passport must be valid 6 months after your return date), and be in possession all visas, permits and certificates including vaccination certificates, insurance policies, required for the whole of the journey. Any information or advice given by All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd. regarding visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, special equipment, etc. is purely advisory, provided as a courtesy and the All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd. is not responsible for any errors or omissions as to the information provided.

8. CLAIMS & COMPLAINS -
If you have a problem during your holiday it is of the utmost importance that you immediately bring it to the attention of the relevant person (for example the hotel manager, the tour guide) who will do their best to put things right. If your complaint is not resolved, you should contact our office to advise us of the problem so that we may endeavour to resolve it. However, should a problem remain unresolved, a complaint should be made in writing within 30 days of your return home.  We will not accept any liability for claims received after this period.

9. PERSONAL BELONGINGS -
Luggage and personal belongings are yours and your party's responsibility. Do not leave personal belongings unattended even for a minute, in the vehicles. All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd. is not responsible for any loss, theft or damage to baggage or personal belongings during the tour.
Please ensure that small items such as mobile phones, purses and wallets are accounted for before the vehicle departs. All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd.  can not guarantee that once the driver has left you, that they will be able to return items left in the vehicle to you immediately.
If an item has been left at the hotel then you can call the hotel and provide them with your home address along with their credit/debit card details so the hotel can arrange for the items to be returned to your home address.

10. WEATHER CONDITIONS -
Under no circumstances can All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd be held responsible for weather conditions. All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd accept no responsibility for weather conditions that may affect the delivery and implementation of the itinerary.

11. ACCURACY –
Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of vouchers and other travel documents at time of going to issue, however All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd can not be held responsible for typographical errors, or errors arising from unforeseen circumstances. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your travel documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies immediately. 

12. PICK UP AND DROP OFF POINTS & TIME -
It is your responsibility to be at the starting point of tour on time.  In the event you miss a planned departure, any extra travel costs incurred are paid by you. Because of the nature of the service, All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd will not be liable if any service leaves or arrives later than its specified time, even if as a result you miss a connecting service. All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd will endeavour to ensure that departure and arrival times are met. If the driver has not turned up within 15 minutes of the agreed time, and the driver has not contacted you to explain his delay, then please contact All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn.  immediately.

13. AIRPORT PICK UP & FLIGHT DELAYS –
The driver will normally wait up to 60 minutes after your flight has landed before making enquiries with the airline, customs or immigration. After this procedure and if there is no sign of the passenger, the driver will leave the airport. If you are delayed more than 1 hour in customs, immigration, baggage collection or lost luggage please call All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. to ensure that the driver will wait.
Please note that if there is a last minute change in timing of the flight or a delay which has not previously been advised, All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn.  can not refund the cost of the lost transfer service and you will be required to make your own arrangements at arrival.

14. CUSTOMS & IMMIGRATIONS DELAYS / ENQUIRIES -
All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd will not be held responsible if passengers are stopped or held by any government departments, e.g. Police, Customs, Immigrations or any other authorities of the destination country. The tour will continue and no financial or any other kind of responsibility will be accepted by All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd.

15. PRIVACY POLICY -
In order to make your booking and ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly, and in accordance with your requirements, we need to use the information that you provide and pass this onto suppliers. This information may include your name, address, age, passport number and any special needs, disabilities, dietary requirements etc.

16. PHOTOGRAPHY & TESTIMONIAL -
Any likeness or image of you secured or taken on any of our holidays may be used by the All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd.,  for bona fide promotional or marketing purposes, including without limitation promotional materials of any kind such as brochures, slides, video shows or the internet. Any written feedback supplied to All Borneo Connection Tours Sdn. Bhd., may also be used for promotional purposes as detailed above.

17. TRAVEL INSURANCE -
We strongly recommend that you do not travel without adequate Travel Insurance for your own protection and peace of mind. It is your responsibility to ensure that you purchase adequate travel insurance for your needs.

18. LAW & JURISDICTION -
Any claim or dispute arising from or related to this contract will be governed by Malaysian law and the courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising out of it.
 

WHEN PLANS CHANGE
 
Should you need to cancel your booking, you must immediately advise us via email or in writing. The date on which your notice of cancellation is received by us will determine the cancellation charge applicable.  If you have paid a deposit and you cancel or terminate your holiday package prior to making full payment, there will be no refund of your deposit.
In addition to the charges shown below many air tickets have no refund value whatsoever and, therefore, airlines may impose 100% cancellation charges.
Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges under the terms of any insurance policy you may have.

Cancellation Fees:

  • 30 days before tour date 35% of total tour arrangements
  • 29 to 15 days before tour date 55% of total tour arrangements
  • Below 14 days before tour date 80% of total tour arrangements
  • 7 days before tour date and No show on tour date No Refund

If, after our confirmation invoice has been issued, you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way, for example your chosen date or accommodation, we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible.
Where it is possible to meet your request the total holiday cost will be recalculated in accordance with any new arrangements taking into account the prevailing prices, under occupancy supplements, any cancellation fees, amendment fees or other extra charges payable and a new confirmation invoice issued. Note: Certain travel arrangements (e.g. air Tickets/Low Cost Flights) may not be changeable after a reservation has been made and any alteration request could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements.

Fees for Amendments and Changes (by customer):

  • 30 days before tour date 35% of total tour arrangements
  • 29 to 15 days before tour date 55% of total tour arrangements
  • Below 14 days before tour date 80% of total tour arrangements
  • 7 days before tour date and No show on tour date No Refund
